APW "The Source" Catalog

The APW “The Source” Catalog is a comprehensive list of all items available to APW’s customers. I was project captain and managed every aspect of the 462 page catalog’s development including design, copy editing, image updates, and indexing.

Gross Margin Return on Investment Reporting

I led an interdepartmental project to create a Gross Margin Return on Investment (GMROI) report. This report allows the Product Management and Accounting teams to accurately evaluate the efficacy of product lines as a whole or by item by looking at how much gross margin is gained by every inventory dollar that is spent.

Produced vs. Outsourced Purchases Analysis

When my company decided to outsource some production to help with capacity, they tasked me with tracking produced cabinet doors/drawers and purchased cabinet doors/drawers used in production. Our VP needed a simple way to view the information weekly and month. Below is the summary report I created using purchasing and production data compiled from 5 other reports.

Critical Inventory Reporting

The Materials Department I led did not have access to a MRP system. So, I created a simple to use and auto-populating report for my team to view items that needed to be ordered based on past purchase history and sales forecasting. Customer backorders were virtually eliminated due to this report.

There was a need for an interdepartmental process to build, develop, and maintain manufacturing and purchased item data. I utilized an online resource called SmartSheet to build an almost completely automated new data request, development, and upload process to standardize data input of 100+ data points for 2000+ item records into the company's $1.5M Manufacturing system.
